Responsibilities
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
- Assist with mobility issues, transfers, and positioning to ensure patient safety.
- Administer medications as directed by the nursing staff and document administration.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for residents.
- Communicate changes in patient conditions to the RN or Charge Nurse immediately.
Qualifications
- Current and active Georgia CNA License required.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
- Previous experience in long-term care or home health preferred but not required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects for extended periods.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
