Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, and temperature, reporting significant changes to the RN or charge nurse.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and in accordance with facility protocols.
- Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure safety and prevent falls.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care plans and progress notes.
- Collaborate effectively with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure holistic patient care.
- Create a safe, comfortable, and therapeutic environment for residents during the night shift.
Qualifications
- Current and active CNA or LPN license in the state of Arizona.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification required.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Demonstrated ability to work flexible shifts, specifically nights, with a strong commitment to reliability.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on patient advocacy.
- Physical stamina to perform standing, walking, and lifting tasks for extended periods.
- Previous experience in a long-term care or acute care setting is preferred but not mandatory.
