Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Assist with mobility by transferring patients safely to and from beds, wheelchairs, and stretchers.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and licensed nurses.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and medical staff regarding patient status and care plans.
- Document patient care activities, intake and output, and changes in patient conditions accurately.
- Maintain a clean, sanitized, and safe environment for patients and staff.
Qualifications
- Current, active CNA, LPN, or RN license in the State of Florida.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required.
- Previous experience in a clinical or long-term care setting is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Compassionate demeanor with a focus on patient dignity and well-being.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
