Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality direct patient care, including bathing, grooming, and dressing assistance.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse, accurately.
- Assist patients with mobility issues, transfers, and ambulation using proper techniques.
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and care plans.
- Communicate effectively with the nursing team to report changes in patient condition.
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for patients at all times.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the state of Illinois.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Previous experience in a hospital, nursing home, or home healthcare setting is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift patients as needed.
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays.
