Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care to residents including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance
- Monitor vital signs and document patient observations accurately in electronic health records
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and range-of-motion exercises
- Collaborate with RNs and other healthcare staff to implement care plans
- Maintain clean, safe, and infection-free patient environments
- Respond promptly to patient call lights and emergency situations
Qualifications
- Active Virginia CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year of long-term care or hospital experience
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as required
- Pass background check and pre-employment health screening
