Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including bathing, dressing, and mobility assistance
- Monitor and document vital signs, intake/output, and patient conditions
- Assist nurses with medical procedures and treatment preparations
- Maintain clean, safe patient environments following infection control protocols
- Deliver compassionate companionship and emotional support to patients and families
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Accurately complete electronic health records and documentation
Qualifications
- Active Texas CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year acute care or hospital experience preferred
- Current BLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with electronic health record systems
- Flexibility to work weekends, nights, and holidays as needed
- Criminal background check and drug screen clearance required
