Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care, including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs and health status accurately.
- Assist nurses with medical procedures and administer medication as directed.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Document patient progress and care plans in the electronic health record (EHR).
Qualifications
- Current and valid CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) license in California.
- Previous experience in a hospital or long-term care setting is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- CPR/First Aid certification required.
