Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate direct patient care, assisting with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, and pulse.
- Assist with patient mobility, transfers, and ambulation to prevent falls and injuries.
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and personal needs.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients.
- Document patient care plans and changes in condition accurately.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in Georgia.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Previous experience in a hospital or long-term care facility preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care.
