Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor and record vital signs, weight, and fluid intake
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and range-of-motion exercises
- Administer medications under supervision and document accurately
- Support residents with daily activities and maintain a clean, safe environment
- Collaborate with nursing staff to develop individualized care plans
- Respond promptly to resident needs and emergency situations
Qualifications
- Active North CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year of recent CNA experience in long-term care
- Current CPR/BLS certification from American Heart Association
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication skills and empathy for elderly residents
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Background check and TB test required
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts
