Responsibilities
- Provide personalized in-home care including meal preparation and light housekeeping
- Assist clients with mobility, bathing, and personal hygiene routines
- Administer medications and monitor vital signs accurately
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social outings
- Companionship through engaging conversation and activities
- Maintain detailed care logs and communicate with family members
- Follow established care plans and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience required
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification
- Valid Washington State driver's license and reliable vehicle
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Clear background check and negative TB test
- Strong communication skills and compassion for elderly care
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
