Responsibilities
- Chairside assistance during complex dental procedures including implants, orthodontics, and restorations
- Prepare and sterilize instruments/equipment following OSHA and CDC protocols
- Manage digital radiography and intraoral imaging systems
- Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide oxide monitoring (certification required)
- Maintain accurate patient records and digital charting using Dentrix/Eaglesoft
- Oversee inventory management and supply ordering for 5 operatories
- Train new staff members on practice protocols and infection control
Qualifications
- Active California Dental Assistant License (RDA preferred)
- X-Ray and coronal polishing certification
- Minimum 2 years recent experience in general or specialty dentistry
- Proficiency with Eaglesoft/Dentrix practice management software
- CPR/BLS certification (current)
- Exceptional chairside manner and patient communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environment
- Spanish language proficiency (highly desirable)
