Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for treatment by taking vital signs and medical histories
- Assist dentists during procedures including instrument handling and suction
- Perform sterilization and infection control protocols for all equipment
- Manage digital radiography (X-rays) and intraoral imaging
- Execute chairside assistance with precision and efficiency
- Maintain organized patient charts and electronic records
- Coordinate patient flow and appointment scheduling
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification or X-ray license (Texas State Board)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in a dental practice
- Proficiency in digital imaging and practice management software
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- CPR certification required
- Strong attention to detail and infection control knowledge
