Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative treatments and oral surgeries
- Perform sterilization and infection control protocols using OSHA standards
- Take accurate dental impressions and develop X-rays
- Manage patient scheduling and digital chart documentation
- Prepare treatment rooms and dental instruments efficiently
- Provide chairside assistance and patient education
- Order and maintain inventory of dental supplies
Qualifications
- Active Washington State Dental Assistant certification required
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in a dental practice
- Proficiency in Eaglesoft/Dentrix practice management software
- CPR/BLS certification with current expiration date
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology and instruments
- Exceptional interpersonal and multitasking abilities
- Ability to maintain calm demeanor during emergency procedures
- High school diploma or equivalent required
