Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care across diverse patient populations in acute and sub-acute settings
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments with precision, monitoring patient responses
- Document clinical observations and patient progress accurately in electronic health records
- Maintain strict compliance with JCAHO standards and regulatory requirements
- Mentor junior nursing staff and participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Respond effectively to emergency situations with calm professionalism
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Pennsylvania (or compact state license with willingness to obtain PA license)
- BSN degree preferred (ADN candidates with 2+ years experience considered)
- Minimum 1-2 years of clinical experience in acute care or specialty unit
- BLS and ACLS certifications required (PALS preferred)
- Strong assessment skills and critical thinking abilities
- Experience with Epic or similar electronic health record systems
- Excellent communication skills and ability to thrive in fast-paced environments
