Responsibilities
- Perform accurate patient intake, vitals monitoring, and medical history documentation.
- Assist providers with examinations, procedures, and treatments as directed.
- Administer medications, injections, and point-of-care testing in strict accordance with protocols.
- Maintain a clean, sterile, and organized clinical environment for the night shift.
- Process laboratory specimens and manage Electronic Health Records (EHR) with precision.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the night shift nursing team.
Qualifications
- Certification as a CMA (Certified Medical Assistant) or RMA (Registered Medical Assistant) required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or outpatient setting.
- Proven ability to work independently and manage time effectively during night shifts.
- Strong computer proficiency with EHR systems.
- Valid NY State Medical Assistant license.
