Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care in accordance with evidence-based practices and hospital protocols
- Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions using advanced nursing skills
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Provide education to patients and families on health management and preventive care
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
- Respond effectively to emergency situations with critical thinking and rapid intervention
Qualifications
- Active RN license in the state of Texas (or compact license)
- BSN degree required (ADN candidates with 2+ years experience considered)
- BLS and ACLS certifications required (PALS preferred)
- Minimum 2 years of acute care nursing experience
- Strong assessment skills and clinical judgment abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced, high-stress environments
