- Conduct virtual patient assessments and document clinical information in EHR systems
- Coordinate telehealth appointments and prepare patients for remote consultations
- Administer vaccinations and perform routine clinical procedures under physician guidance
- Provide patient education on medication protocols and chronic disease management
- Manage inventory of medical supplies and coordinate prescription refills
- Assist providers with clinical documentation and quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) required
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in ambulatory or hospital setting
- Proficiency with EHR systems (Epic, Cerner, or similar)
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Exceptional communication skills for virtual patient interactions
- Ability to maintain HIPAA compliance in remote work environment
