Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, and grooming to clients.
- Assist with light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation.
- Monitor and accurately record patient vital signs and daily activities in care logs.
- Accompany patients to medical appointments and run essential errands.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to improve quality of life.
- Administer medication reminders as directed by the RN or physician.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized living environment for patients.
Qualifications
- Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required.
- Current State of Kentucky Nurse Aide Registry listing.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs frequently.
