Responsibilities
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor patient health status and report any changes in condition or vital signs to the nursing staff.
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding according to dietary restrictions and physician orders.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients to enhance their quality of life.
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry tasks related to patient care.
- Transport patients to medical appointments and run errands as needed.
- Document daily care activities and submit accurate timesheets.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- CNA or PCA certification preferred but not required (on-the-job training available).
- Current, valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Physical ability to assist patients with mobility and transfers.
- Valid CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
