Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation
- Provide companionship and emotional support while maintaining patient confidentiality
- Monitor vital signs and document health status changes accurately
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and prescribed exercises
- Administer medications and treatments as per care plans
- Transport patients to medical appointments and errands
- Maintain clean, safe home environments
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional home health or caregiver experience
- Current CPR/First Aid certification required
- Valid Louisiana driver's license and reliable vehicle
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Compassionate nature with strong interpersonal skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
