Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance to clients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and light exercises as prescribed by the physician.
- Monitor and report changes in client health, mood, and behavior to the nursing team.
- Prepare meals and assist with meal planning according to dietary restrictions.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments, therapy sessions, and social activities.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized living environment for the client.
- Administer medication reminders as directed and documented.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Current state certification as a Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required for home visits.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a compassionate demeanor.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks.
