Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed.
- Provide medication reminders and accurately document patient intake.
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry duties to maintain a clean living environment.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to patients to reduce isolation.
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and walking aids.
- Monitor and report any changes in a patient's physical or emotional condition to supervisors immediately.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license is mandatory.
- Current CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
