Responsibilities
- Conduct virtual patient intake and preliminary assessments
- Assist physicians with clinical documentation via telehealth platforms
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) and patient data securely
- Coordinate patient care plans and follow-up appointments
- Provide patient education on treatment protocols and medications
- Prepare and maintain medical supplies for remote consultations
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for continuity of care
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or equivalent)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience
- Proficiency in telehealth platforms (Zoom, Doxy, etc.)
- Strong EHR system expertise (Epic, Cerner preferred)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently in remote settings
- Valid California BLS/CPR certification
- Attention to detail and multitasking abilities
