Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with clinical procedures including patient preparation, vital signs measurement, and specimen collection
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) systems with precision and maintain strict patient confidentiality
- Perform clinical tasks such as EKGs, phlebotomy, wound care, and medication administration under provider supervision
- Coordinate patient flow, schedule appointments, and ensure efficient clinic operations
- Provide patient education on treatment plans, preventive care, and medication instructions
- Maintain clean, organized exam rooms and inventory of medical supplies
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes and satisfaction
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or CCMA) or graduate from accredited MA program
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in outpatient or hospital setting
- Proficiency in EHR systems and medical documentation protocols
- BLS/CPR certification required; ACLS preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to build rapport with diverse patient populations
- Ability to multitask effectively in fast-paced clinical environment
- Valid Pennsylvania driver's license and reliable transportation
- Flexibility to work varied shifts including early mornings, evenings, and occasional weekends
