Responsibilities
- Conduct virtual patient intake assessments and document medical histories
- Prepare and maintain electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Assist providers with telemedicine procedures and medication coordination
- Administer remote patient education and chronic disease management
- Coordinate referrals and specialist consultations
- Monitor patient vital signs via remote monitoring devices
- Maintain HIPAA compliance in all digital communications
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA)
- 2+ years of clinical or telehealth experience
- Proficient with EHR systems (Epic, Cerner preferred)
- Strong written communication skills for patient documentation
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Valid BLS/CPR certification
- North Carolina medical assistant license (or eligible)
