Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist physicians during procedures
- Administer medications and injections as prescribed
- Perform vital signs and EKGs accurately
- Maintain electronic health records with precision
- Coordinate patient scheduling and follow-up care
- Ensure sterile environments and infection control protocols
- Assist with laboratory specimen collection and processing
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) required
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in a fast-paced setting
- BLS/CPR certification and valid NY state license
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to multitask in high-pressure situations
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
