- Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits
- Resolve claim denials and billing discrepancies
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA and healthcare regulations
- Collaborate with clinical teams to document charges accurately
- Generate monthly reports for revenue analysis
- Update patient accounts with insurance changes
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical billing experience
- Certification in medical coding (CPC, CCS-P) preferred
- Proficiency in Epic or NextGen EHR systems
- Knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication abilities for insurer negotiations
- Associates degree in Health Information Management
