Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate daily care to patients including bathing, dressing, and mobility assistance
- Monitor vital signs and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed
- Document patient care accurately and maintain confidential records
- Support patients with medication reminders under supervision
- Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure coordinated care plans
- Maintain clean and safe patient environments
Qualifications
- Current New York State CNA certification required
- Minimum 1 year recent CNA experience in a clinical setting
- Valid CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic computer proficiency for documentation
