Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examination by assisting with history taking and vital signs.
- Perform basic laboratory tests and EKGs as directed by the provider.
- Manage patient records and schedule appointments accurately.
- Administer injections and medications following strict safety protocols.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary clinical environment.
- Collaborate effectively with the clinical team to ensure seamless patient flow.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or equivalent certification required.
- Current BLS/ACLS certification is preferred.
- Strong communication skills with a focus on patient empathy.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- High school diploma or GED required.
