Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Assist with mobility and transfer patients safely using proper techniques and equipment.
- Communicate changes in patient condition or concerns to the registered nurse or charge nurse immediately.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment in accordance with healthcare standards.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and directed by nursing staff.
Qualifications
- Current and active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license issued by the State of Washington.
- CPR/BLS certification (Basic Life Support) is required.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience in a hospital or long-term care facility is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centered approach.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods.
