Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive patient care assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications, treatments, and emergency interventions with precision
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient transitions
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation
- Educate patients and families on health management and discharge planning
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance and all NY State nursing regulations
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient safety protocols
- Respond effectively to emergency situations with calm professionalism
Qualifications
- Active New York State RN license in good standing
- Associates or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN preferred)
- Minimum 1 year acute care experience (ER, Med-Surg, ICU preferred)
- BLS/CPR certification with current ACLS certification
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic, Cerner, etc.)
- Exceptional critical thinking and communication skills
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Commitment to delivering culturally competent care
