Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized nursing care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and health status, promptly reporting any changes to the nursing supervisor or physician.
- Document patient medical history, assessments, and care plans accurately and timely in the electronic health record.
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, medication management, and post-discharge care instructions.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare team members to ensure holistic patient care.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license to practice in the State of Washington.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or medical setting preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with patients and families.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment under pressure.
