Responsibilities
- Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently under pharmacist supervision
- Manage inventory control, including ordering, stocking, and tracking pharmaceuticals
- Process insurance claims and maintain patient medication records
- Provide exceptional customer service and medication counseling to patients
- Prepare IV medications and sterile compounding when required
- Ensure compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations
Qualifications
- Active Pharmacy Technician license in Minnesota
- Minimum 1 year of retail/hospital pharmacy experience
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical terminology and drug interactions
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) preferred
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume environment
- Basic computer proficiency with pharmacy software systems
