Responsibilities
- Accurately prepare and dispense prescription medications under pharmacist supervision
- Manage pharmaceutical inventory, including ordering, receiving, and stock rotation
- Maintain precise patient records and ensure HIPAA compliance
- Process insurance claims and manage third-party billing systems
- Provide exceptional patient education on medication usage and side effects
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient therapy plans
- Ensure pharmacy cleanliness and adherence to regulatory standards
Qualifications
- Active Oklahoma Pharmacy Technician license (PTCB or ExCPT certified)
- Minimum 2 years retail or hospital pharmacy experience
- Expert knowledge of medication dispensing protocols and safety procedures
- Proficiency in pharmacy management software (e.g., QS1, Rx30)
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in high-pressure environments
- Strong customer service skills with ability to address sensitive inquiries
- Ability to lift 25 lbs and stand for extended periods
