Responsibilities
- Dispense medications accurately and efficiently while adhering to all regulatory standards
- Manage inventory control, including ordering, receiving, and stock rotation
- Provide exceptional customer service and patient education on medications
- Process insurance claims and maintain accurate patient records
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and pharmacy safety protocols
- Assist in training new pharmacy staff members
Qualifications
- Active Ohio Pharmacy Technician license required
- 1+ years of experience in retail or hospital pharmacy setting
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) preferred
- Strong knowledge of medication dispensing and inventory management
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment
- Basic computer proficiency with pharmacy software systems
- Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
