Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional patient care in diverse clinical settings including ICU, ER, and Med-Surg units
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive care plans
- Administer medications and treatments with precision while monitoring patient responses
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and ensure strict compliance with JCAHO standards
- Provide patient education and discharge planning for diverse populations
- Participate in rapid response codes and emergency protocols
- Adapt quickly to new facility systems and documentation requirements
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Texas or ability to obtain via compact license
- Minimum 2 years of acute care experience in specialty area
- BLS/ACLS certifications; PALS or TNCC preferred based on assignment
- Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts including nights and weekends
- Strong critical thinking skills during high-pressure situations
- Excellent communication skills for patient and family interactions
- Ability to pass comprehensive background screening and drug tests
