Responsibilities
- Accurately dispense prescription medications under pharmacist supervision
- Manage inventory, ordering, and stock rotation for 200+ SKUs
- Process insurance claims and patient assistance programs
- Provide exceptional customer service in a high-volume retail setting
- Maintain HIPAA compliance for all patient records
- Collaborate with healthcare providers for medication reconciliation
- Train on new pharmacy systems and regulatory updates
Qualifications
- Active California Pharmacy Technician license (PTCB or ExCPT)
- Minimum 1 year retail pharmacy experience
- Certified in sterile compounding (preferred)
- Strong knowledge of pharmacy software (e.g., QS1, Omnicell)
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work 40 hours/week including weekends
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Background check and drug screening required
