Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional patient care across diverse medical units including ICU, ER, and telemetry
- Administer medications and treatments with precision and documentation excellence
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and ensure regulatory compliance
- Provide patient education and discharge planning for optimal recovery outcomes
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Active Texas RN license (compact license acceptable)
- Minimum 1 year acute care experience in hospital setting
- BLS and ACLS certifications (required), PALS preferred
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Proficiency in Epic EHR systems
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including weekends and holidays
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
