Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and monitor vital signs to ensure safety and comfort.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Document patient care plans, progress notes, and outcomes accurately in electronic health records (EHR).
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team, including physicians and therapists, to optimize patient recovery.
- Provide compassionate patient education and emotional support to patients and their families.
- Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to all infection control policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Valid and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a high-paced team environment.
- Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
