Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional patient care in accordance with evidence-based practices and facility protocols
- Administer medications, treatments, and diagnostic procedures with precision
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Document patient assessments and interventions accurately in EMR systems
- Monitor and respond to changes in patient conditions with critical thinking
- Educate patients and families on health management and discharge planning
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and Joint Commission standards
Qualifications
- Active RN license in New York State (NYSED)
- BSN degree or equivalent nursing diploma
- Minimum 1 year acute care experience (new graduates welcome with strong references)
- BLS and ACLS certifications (PALS preferred for pediatric roles)
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EPIC, Cerner, or similar)
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
