Responsibilities
- Delicate patient assessments and critical care interventions in our advanced cardiac ICU
- Administer specialized medications and perform complex IV therapies with precision
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams using state-of-the-art Epic EHR systems
- Maintain rigorous documentation standards for JCAHO compliance
- Lead emergency response protocols including ACLS and rapid response activations
- Mentor new staff through our structured preceptorship program
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active MN RN license with unrestricted privileges
- BSN degree (ADN candidates with 3+ years ICU experience considered)
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years acute care nursing experience
- Demonstrated expertise in hemodynamic monitoring
- Strong critical thinking and rapid assessment skills
- Experience with Epic EHR preferred
- Ability to adapt quickly to high-acuity environments
