Responsibilities
- Monitor patient health status by performing physical exams and detailed clinical assessments.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols and physician orders.
- Develop, implement, and revise individualized patient care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Document patient care services accurately and timely in electronic health records.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Respond promptly to emergency situations and provide critical care interventions when needed.
- Educate patients and their families on post-discharge care and health maintenance.
Qualifications
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of New York.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association is required.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a high-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to provide compassionate and patient-centered care.
- Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screening.
