Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care across diverse patient populations in critical care settings
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders with precise documentation
- Monitor patient vitals and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for optimal outcomes
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and post-discharge care protocols
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and JCAHO regulations
- Participate in rapid response codes and emergency interventions
- Utilize Epic EHR system for real-time patient data management
Qualifications
- Active California RN license (BRN # required)
- BSN or higher degree from accredited nursing program
- Minimum 2 years of acute care experience in ICU/ER setting
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications (or obtain within 30 days)
- Strong critical thinking skills during high-pressure situations
- Excellent communication skills for patient/family interactions
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including nights/weekends
