Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive patient care in ER/ICU units with precise medication administration
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Utilize Epic EHR systems for accurate documentation and care coordination
- Monitor patient vitals and respond rapidly to emergent situations
- Provide patient/family education on treatment protocols and discharge planning
- Maintain strict compliance with JCAHO and OSHA regulations
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical research trials
Qualifications
- Active KY RN license (or compact license with quick KY endorsement)
- BSN degree required (ADN candidates with 3+ years ICU experience considered)
- ACLS/BLS certifications (PALS preferred)
- Minimum 2 years acute care experience (ER/ICU background highly valued)
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Experience with Epic EHR systems
- Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including weekends/holidays
