Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments with strict adherence to safety protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond swiftly to any changes in condition.
- Document patient care accurately and timely in the electronic health record system.
- Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.
- Provide patient education and emotional support to patients and their families.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment in accordance with hospital standards.
Qualifications
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Texas.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of acute care nursing experience preferred.
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure night shift environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
