Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor vital signs to ensure safety and quality of care.
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and in compliance with hospital protocols.
- Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to develop and adjust individualized care plans.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation.
- Provide patient education and emotional support to patients and their families.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and code blue situations.
- Adhere to all healthcare regulations, including HIPAA and OSHA standards.
Qualifications
- Valid and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred.
- Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Physical stamina to perform standing and walking duties for extended periods.
