Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care in acute care units during weekend shifts
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for critically ill patients
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per physician orders
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient care
- Document accurately in Epic EHR systems and maintain regulatory compliance
- Respond rapidly to emergency situations including codes and rapid responses
- Provide patient/family education on conditions and treatment plans
Qualifications
- Active Florida RN license (compact license accepted)
- BSN degree strongly preferred (ADN with 3+ years experience considered)
- Minimum 2 years acute care nursing experience
- Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
- Flexibility to work rotating weekends and holidays
