Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional patient care across diverse medical units during weekend shifts
- Administer medications, treatments, and emergency interventions with precision
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and ensure regulatory compliance
- Provide patient/family education and emotional support during critical care moments
- Participate in weekend staff meetings and quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active California RN license (required)
- BSN or higher degree preferred
- Minimum 2 years acute care nursing experience
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (or obtain within 30 days)
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Weekend shift availability (Saturday/Sunday, 12-hour shifts)
- Proficiency in Epic EMR system
