Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care in accordance with established standards and protocols
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing interventions for assigned patients
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure coordinated care
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor patient vital signs and document observations accurately and timely
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and self-care management
- Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
Qualifications
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Illinois
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Associate's degree in Nursing required
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical nursing experience in a hospital setting
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ACLS preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems
- Demonstrated commitment to providing exceptional patient care
