Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional patient care in acute care settings with critical thinking skills
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders with precision
- Document patient assessments and care plans using Epic EHR systems
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Maintain strict compliance with JCAHO and HIPAA regulations
- Provide patient/family education on health conditions and discharge planning
- Respond effectively to emergency situations using ACLS protocols
Qualifications
- Active FL RN license in good standing
- BSN degree preferred (ADN accepted with 2+ years experience)
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 1 year acute care experience (ER, ICU, or Med-Surg)
- Strong proficiency in electronic medical records (Epic preferred)
- Excellent communication and critical thinking abilities
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including nights and weekends
- Pass background check and drug screening
